Fitness-Mentor Privacy Policy
Last updated 1 August 2026 · Copy version v1
Fitness-Mentor is used by young athletes, their parents and guardians, and their coaches. This policy explains what we collect, what we do with it, and how you stay in control of it. It is written to be read, not to be survived.
Who we are, and how to reach us
Fitness-Mentor is operated by Kalinkin, LLC.
We are the only operator collecting or maintaining information through this service. Any question, request, or complaint about a child’s information goes to the address above and is answered by us directly.
What we collect about an athlete
- Given by a parent or guardian: the athlete’s first and last name, age, and sport.
- Recorded by the athlete, daily and always optional: how hard they felt they worked, how they felt, and a one-tap answer to a simple question. This takes about ten seconds and can be skipped any day.
- Recorded by a coach the parent has approved: attendance, an optional effort rating, written feedback, and the skills the athlete is working on.
- If enabled by a parent: a numeric PIN so the athlete can open the app.
- If the athlete is 13 or older and signed up themselves: an email address and password.
We do not collect a child’s home address, phone number, photographs, video, voice recordings, or location. We use no advertising identifiers and no persistent identifiers for tracking.
What we collect about a parent or guardian
Name, email address, and the record of the consent you gave — when, where, by what method, and against which version of the consent wording.
How we use it
To show an athlete their own progress over time, to let the coaches you personally approve give individual feedback, and to write you a short weekly summary. That is the whole list.
Who it is disclosed to
We do not disclose a child’s information to anyone for their own purposes. We do not sell it, rent it, trade it, or share it with anyone who would use it for their own ends. There is no advertising in this product and no behavioural advertising to anyone, ever.
| Provider | What it handles | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Resend | Parent email address; athlete first name inside the weekly summary | Delivering email |
| Sentry | Technical error reports, scrubbed of information identifying a child | Finding and fixing faults |
Coaches see information about an athlete only where that athlete’s parent or guardian has approved that specific coach. Approval is per coach, not per team, and it can be withdrawn at any moment.
We may disclose information if the law requires it, or where it is necessary to protect a child’s safety.
How long we keep it
- We keep an athlete’s information while their profile is active.
- If a profile is closed, we keep it for up to 12 months in case the family wants it back, then delete it permanently.
- If you ask us to delete sooner, we do — see below.
- Consent records are kept as a permanent record that consent was given, because we have to be able to show it. They are stripped of information identifying a deleted child.
- Reports about a coach’s message are kept for a defined period and then deleted.
Your rights as a parent or guardian
You can, at any time and without giving a reason:
- See everything we hold about your child.
- Delete it. We remove your child’s information within 30 days, including copies held in our backups. Deleting means the profile stops existing — it does not become a hidden record.
- Refuse any further collection, which stops new information being recorded while keeping what exists, or combine it with deletion.
- Withdraw your consent, which ends collection entirely.
- Approve or remove any coach’s access. Removal takes effect immediately.
- Report a concern about anything a coach sent your child. We keep the message exactly as it was sent, and reporting never costs you the ability to remove that coach as well.
To do any of these, email skalinkin+eft@gmail.com, write to the address above, or speak to Sergiy Kalinkin at the club. We will verify that you are the child’s parent or guardian before acting, so that nobody else can make these requests about your child.
Things we do not do
- No behavioural advertising, and no advertising at all.
- No sale of anyone’s information, ever.
- No third-party analytics, tracking pixels, or tag managers anywhere in the product.
- No public profiles, no messaging between children, and no rankings or leaderboards comparing one child to another.
- No push notifications to a child, and no marketing email to a child.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information in a way that matters, we will tell parents and guardians directly rather than quietly updating this page, and we will obtain fresh consent where the law requires it.
